Welcome to OnDuty Lifeguard. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website at ondutylifeguard.com (the "Site") and our pre-launch waitlist. By using the Site or submitting your information, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Pre-Launch Status
OnDuty Lifeguard is currently in a pre-launch, waitlist phase. The Site is provided for informational purposes and to let you express interest in our future service. We are not yet offering, booking, or providing lifeguard services, and joining the waitlist does not create any obligation for us to provide services to you or guarantee that our service will launch in your area.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to submit information through the Site. By using the Site, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the authority to provide it.
3. Waitlist Submissions
- You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when joining the waitlist.
- You will not submit false information or impersonate another person or organization.
- Joining the waitlist does not guarantee priority, pricing, availability, or that you will be matched with a lifeguard once we launch.
- Any promotional offers (such as priority placement or zero platform fees at launch) are described in good faith but may change before launch.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or related systems;
- Introduce viruses, bots, or other harmful or disruptive code;
- Scrape, copy, or harvest content or data from the Site without our permission;
- Interfere with the proper operation or security of the Site.
5. Intellectual Property
The OnDuty Lifeguard name, logo, content, and design are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute them without our prior written consent.
6. Future Services
When OnDuty Lifeguard launches, use of the actual lifeguard booking and staffing service will be governed by separate terms presented at that time. Nothing in these Terms constitutes an offer of employment, a staffing agreement, or a guarantee of service.

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services that we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party sites.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
9. Limitation of Liability

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless OnDuty Lifeguard and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the Site or your violation of these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Georgia.
